here is my setup below.......
When it being tuned my tuner says he is getting a max psi of about 9 on his laptop. However, On the DEFI boost guage it shows 11-12. Which should i believe. I have a slightly bigger and lightened unorthodox pulley (bigger than crv)i want to slap on but I don't want to over spin the freaking supercharger. What do you think

If some one can get the pics on here without the link that would be ggggreat.
Th car looks ghetto so I have to do a lot of coaxing to get corvettes ect. to bite

Your Hondata controlled ECU does not have any idea what your DEFI gauge reads... it is making the necessary fuel/timing adjustments based on the values conveyed by your MAP sensor... which is about 9psi based on the information you received from your tuner.

Now, without going into PAGES of explanation here on your thread (I suggest you use the "Search" function in the archives and seek out one of my PSI and Blower Speed posts), you will find out that PSI is essentially a useless value and blower speed and CFM are really what counts. Make some calculations to see what your blower's maximum RPM is and then you can decide if you need to create more PSI (RPM or CFM).

I calculated that my blower is blowing at 13500-13900rpm.
crank diameter: 6.65 inches divided by 4 inches (charger pulley diameter)multiplied by peak engine rpm = 8300 = 13798.75

I am still in the safe zone with the blower?
Is the blower redline at 15000 rpm?

Blower redline: moss motors says 14,000rpm and Eaton says 16,000rpm.

Food for thought: I have been spinning mine to 17,000rpm with no problems for almost 2 years. However, I am peaking out (horsepower) at 15,500 blower RPM due too much heat created above that RPM. There are Miata owners spinning their blowers to 18,000+rpms. But, they are using water injection and only spinning that high for short duration drag races.

Good luck...

so i guess I am still in the green zone. and i always thought i was in the red because after adding the crv crank pulley, the charger whined noticeably louder.
Thanks
